Welcome to the Castro Valley Ski Club!!
There are many great opportunities available to the 200 members of the ski club.
In addition to the bimonthly meetings from October-April and the monthly meetings from May-September there are many social events. Annual highlights of the year include the Christmas dinner party and Spring dinner-dance at the Sequoia Country Club and the Livermore winery bike tour and the Mexican Fiesta in the summer. Various other activities such as attending an A's game, a Halloween party and a Delta boating excursion are offered throughout the year.
The club offers an open league ski racing team and the Siegfried condo in Tahoe City which is available racing week-ends.
Members can also join the Sitzmark cabin which is a large cabin in Tahoe Donner which is available from December1-April 15.
Club members are also members of the Bay Area Council of Ski Clubs (BAC) and the Far West Ski Association (FWSA). BAC offers discount lift tickets to Tahoe Ski Areas. The Far West Ski Association, Bay Area Council and the Castro Valley Ski Club offer terrific ski and travel packages throughout the year. Upcoming trips include a China & Tibet, Vietnam, Cambodia & Thailand and a ski week at Whistler.

Membership is $35 per year for the first person and $15 for each additional person residing at the same address and is renewed October 1. New members joining from May to September of 2007 will have their memberships extended to October 1, 2008.
